We focus on adventures for independent travellers – small groups and families. Our itineraries can be customised if needed or we can help with specially tailored tour options to destinations around the state.
We encourage you to contact us to discuss you needs and ask about our group pricing options.
Our current tour offering can be used as a starting point for your getaway, so why not book a tour with us.
We are located in Launceston and offer regular scenic tours on the waterfront operating as Launceston Kayak Tours.
Situated in the Old Launceston Seaport, the pontoon for our kayak tours in Tasmania is perfectly located for easy access to the Tamar River and its tributaries.
The North and North West of the state contain some amazing opportunities to walk and paddle with your feet, and we have specialised with our tours to these regions for over 10 years.
Combining Cradle Mountain and the Tarkine, we offer three- and four-day departures.
With a base at our private campsite in Corinna (on the Pieman River), these tours are a great blend of hiking and kayaking.
The standing camp features large canvas tents on platforms to provide some basic comforts for a good night’s sleep. There is also plenty of time to relax around a campfire and enjoy a great meal while watching the local wildlife.
For longer tours on the Kanamakuka/River Tamar we offer half days and full days that allow time for scenic paddles in the Beauty Point area.
Fishing equipment can also be supplied if you would like to try your luck at catching dinner. The Tamar Valley is also home to many excellent wineries, fine food and local produce; perfect for a full day of indulging the senses.
Multi-day tours with more time kayaking plus fishing adventures are available thanks to a large selection of lakes and flat-water rivers.
We currently offer a two-day tour covering lakes closer to Launceston, and a three-day tour centred on the lakes which formed around the old Hydro village of Tullah.
As with all our tours we can customise them to suit the ideal experience that you’re after.
Our approach is to be flexible with itineraries and allow changes to the order of activities to get the best out of the weather conditions.
We feel this is a better way to encounter the true nature of the places we visit, something that sightseeing tours just can’t capture.
